Company History – West Coast Fire Equipment was founded in 1988 in Fort Myers, Florida by Bernie Murphy, who today still owns and operates the company.  Bernie and his team focus on providing fire alarms and extinguishers to businesses and residential communities, but soon expanded to emergency lighting and then all types of commercial lighting. Fire Alarm Checks – We’re certified to conduct the annual fire alarm inspections and repairs required by law.

Corporate Philosophy – Do it right.  It’s a simple philosophy but one we embrace with conviction.  Our technicians follow stated procedures for every task.  They work safe and don’t take shortcuts.  High standards help set us apart from other electrical companies, which is how we’ve thrived for 25+ years.
